Smith Fire Extinguisher Co. is a trusted fire protection company serving Fresno, Clovis, and the surrounding Central California communities. Although our company has been proudly operating for over seven years, our experience reaches far beyond that. Growing up around the industry, I began working for my uncle’s fire extinguisher business in 2009 and earned my personal license that same year. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, we bring deep industry knowledge, reliable service, and a genuine commitment to keeping your property safe and compliant.

Our Story

Smith Fire Extinguisher Co. was founded with the support and encouragement of my uncle, Derrick Scelzi of Midstate Fire Extinguisher Co. After working alongside him since 2009, I saw firsthand the importance of knowledgeable, reliable, and ethical fire protection service—and the need for more of it in our industry.

When I launched Smith Fire Extinguisher Co., my goal was clear: build a company that is informative, trustworthy, honest, reliable, and reasonably priced. A company that puts customers first, communicates clearly, and never relies on unnecessary upsells or aggressive tactics.

What began as a small operation has grown rapidly to serving over 1,000 clients throughout Fresno, Clovis, and neighboring areas. That growth has been fueled by referrals, repeat customers, and a reputation for doing things the right way. Today, we continue to uphold those founding values—combining family roots, personal experience, and a commitment to excellence in every service we provide.
